Archiving CDR reporter tool
Now we are at the end of OCS article series and I want to talk about how we can read the data from archiving database. For an SQL administrator, to write a query and reach the desired data is not a big deal. But for others, it would be good to have a tool which does the same thing. You can find some third party tools in the market but I am going to talk about a free tool which Microsoft released for OCS administrators. “Archiving CDR Reporter” which is included by “OCS 2007 R2 Resource Kit” is simple and not a prefessional tool, but it works and is free. Lets start with the installation and have a look at the interface.

Office Communications Server 2007 R2 infrastructure fundamental settings
Hi folks
In the previous five articles, I explained the installation of OCS and problems that were faced during OCS setup. In this part, I will try to explain some of the settings for OCS infrastructure. To administer an OCS 2007 R2 server, I have to install Administration Tools from the OCS installation media. In addition to that, installing Windows 2008 Remote Server Administration Tool (RSAT) to the same machine eases the administration very much.
