Front-end Server installation
Hello again,
In the first three parts of our article series, I talked about what the OCS is, what we can do with OCS, what are the components of OCS infrastructure. I finished the creation of Enterprise Pool and installation of Archiving Server. In this part, I will install the Front-end OCS Server, add it to the Enterprise Pool and configure few settings.
Before getting into the OCS installation process, I have to install some prerequisites. These are Windows Media Format Runtime, IIS role and Message Queuing feature. First I want to install Windows Media Format Runtime. For this purpose, I open a command prompt on Front-end server (mstipocsfe01.mstip.com) and run the following command:
