CUSTOMIZING EXCHANGE 2007 OWA INTERFACE

In this article, i will talk about the basic steps for customization of Exchange 2007 OWA interface. OWA (as you already know) is an Exchange service for users to reach their e-mails via a web-browser without need for Outlook client. The server that gives this service is the one which is holding Client Access Server (CAS) role.

In this article, I will explain the details about Windows XP operating system installation procedure by using Windows Deployment Services (WDS) technology. As a matter of fact, this article is somehow an continuation of the first two WDS articles (Implementation of Windows Deployment Services (WDS) on Windows Server 2008 R2) because i will explain some of the WDS management steps on the already installed WDS server. We have finished our WDS server installation before and today we are going to add install and boot images to the server. Then we will install operating system to the client computers over network connection. We are going to use WDS administrative interface for this purpose.

I will try to explain the implementation of Windows Deployment Services (WDS) on Windows Server 2008 R2 in this two part article series. Lets begin with the explanation of WDS. What is it and used for? WDS is an continuation and upgraded version of Remote Installation Services (RIS) which comes with older Windows Server products. The aim of the service is to install operating system on a baremetal client machine through network connection. So, why do i want to install an OS through network connection? I can tell you few reasons for this: the client machine doesn’t have a CD/DVD drive, install a bunch of computer at the same time, to implement a fully installed (OS and programs) client image to lots of computers in a short time etc. OK. That is enough for intro. Lets get into the real subject.
